Shelltoe Systems: Litefeet Culture 2010-2025 is a visual tribute to the dynamic, Harlem-born, Uptown-cultivated subculture that is warmly embraced by New Yorkers and boasts its status as a recognized Street Dance form practiced on many continents.
Shelltoe Systems is one the first art exhibitions to situate Litefeet within NYC’s Hip Hop Dance tradition; connect it to Harlem youth culture, and Uptown recreational events. This exhibition is the first time Lafotographeuse has shared her photographs of Litefeet.
